Environmental documentary- Visual research

I soon changed my mind and decided to do an informative zine on the animals and wildlife that particularly benefit from this environment. To find this information, I did lots of research on the website trying to find species of animals that the London Wetland Centre take particular pride in helping. This helped me to narrow down my search so that I made sure I was illustrating the animals with the most significant connection to the centre.

Possible pictorial references for otter illustrations

When drawing or painting from pictures I often get stuck into the details of what I see and this often takes me more time than it needs to. I therefore looked at these examples of watercolour illustrations by other artists to see how I might simplify my chosen reference images.
