Summer Project
For my summer project I mainly wanted to focus on being able to do quick sketches with out being to precious able my image making and worrying about what the final outcome would look like. I used watercolours a lot as I find it the most efficient way for me to illustrate colour in a subject however I probably should have branched out and found other mediums to make images with. I also did a lot of photography, another thing I love to do, and included that in the project.
In the first week we were encouraged to put up our work in our studio spaces. I have never really done this before but found it a useful way to physically see the images I had, enabling me to see how it could be used in the future to rearrange my existing material to find new ways of looking at images and combining them.
